This year’s Remembrance Ceremony will be held the evening of Tuesday December 10th at the historic Marcus Whitman Hotel in downtown Walla Walla.

Tree of Life is an excellent opportunity to get involved in the year around work of Walla Walla Community Hospice. In keeping with tradition, we are offering three opportunities to show your support, as well as honor special individuals who have touched your life during the annual Remembrance Ceremony.

Commemorative Glass Ornament – For a $30 donation, you can receive a beautiful commemorative etched-glass ornament created by a local artisan in the Pacific Northwest. Each year we feature a new design, and this year’s design was created by our own Hospice Aide, Rose Rogalla. Tribute Ornament – Personalized tribute ornaments are a paper replica of the glass ornament with a tribute printed on the reverse side. Tribute ornaments are available for a $10 donation and are given in memory of, or living tribute to, special individuals who have touched your life! During the months of November and December, the ornaments are displayed on the Tree of Life in the lobby of the historic Marcus Whitman Hotel. For all tributes purchased in memoriam, names of those honored are read aloud during the annual Tree of Life Ceremony. Anyone is welcome to join this special event to honor the memory of loved ones. Hospice Hero – The vital work of Walla Walla Community Hospice takes place year-around!
