No one is denied hospice care due to financial reasons, lack of insurance, or inability to pay.
Grief and bereavement and educational programs, including Camp Amanda, are offered to the community at no charge.
Your gifts help us to continue these important programs in Walla Walla, Columbia, and Umatilla Counties. Your donations also help to close the gap between the actual cost of care and shrinking reimbursements.
We are a 501 (c ) (3) not-for-profit organization, so your gift is tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.
Our full financials are available to view on Guidestar.org where we have achieved a Platinum rating as a result of our commitment to transparency as it relates to sharing financial information.
Additionally, from November 28 to December 31, 2023, all donations given to WWCH through the Valley Giving Guide (VGG) will be boosted up to $10,000. If you are going to make a financial gift to WWCH during this timeframe, please consider doing it via www.valleygivingguide.org and INCREASE your donation. We will not know the boosted percentage until the end of the year, though last year it was 11% for all online donations and there were fewer sponsors than this year. The VGG also accepts checks and gifted stock on behalf of non-profits, though checks need to be made out to Valley Giving Guide (and not the non-profit). More information on this type of gifting is offered on their website. Administered by the Blue Mountain Community Foundation, VGG is a powerful way to support good work happening in our community! Thank you.
